  • Way of consumption : One should start with half a teaspoon and gradually raise the intake as per the person’s digestion capacity.
  • Volume of intake also depends on the constitution of the person.
  • It should be consumed in the early mornings.
  • There should be no other food or medicine while having Chavanprash.
  • There are additives such as Shunthi, Jaiphal, Nagkeshar that acts as a catalyst for improved digestion.
