What is the Ayurvedic perspective on Angiography and Angioplasty ?

Blocks in blood vessels in the heart is the primary cause for advice for angioplasty. Primary cause is plaque accumulated or constriction of the blood vessel. A stent is introduced to widen the blood vessel so that it restores uniform blood flow.
Plaque is a precipitation of doshas in the bloodstream.

As per Ayurveda principle the thickening of blood leads to plaque formation. Blood thickens due to food intake which raises the thickness. Therefore the strategy to get rid of heart disease PERMANENTLY is by reducing the supply of blood thickening factors from the food, and digesting the thickening factors from the blood stream so that the plaque is eliminated and tendency to plaque formation is reversed.

The blood thickening factor in food is generated by the quality of digestion. If the food is not properly digested then the undigested or semi digested food goes into the bloodstream leading to further pathology. When digestion is in its prime, there is complete assimilation of food with minimal residue. When digestion is weak, there is more residue and it is made evident by the presence of undigested vegetative matter in the stools.

Right types of food in correct amounts and eaten at the right time is very important; anything else might invite problems.
No single food item can be branded as a cause. But butter, yoghurt, cheese paneer, non vegetarian food, seafood, sedentary lifestyle, stress, food consumption under stressful mindset, food consumption before complete digestion of previous food are major reasons for digestion problem. This in turn affects the quality of the blood stream leading to a variety of diseases; heart disease being one of them.
